Do you know your Why? The purpose, cause, or belief that inspires you to do what you do?
Very few people or companies can clearly articulate WHY they do WHAT they do. When I say WHY, I dont mean to make money—that’s a result. By WHY, I mean what is your purpose, cause or belief? WHY does your company exist? WHY do you get out of bed every morning? And WHY should anyone care?”
It’s a simple question, really. Why do you do what you do? Unless you’re an astronaut, it’s not the work we do that inspires us. It’s finding purpose and connecting it to your passion and work to stay motivated and makes us smarter, better, and happier.
My “why” is to make people’s lives better through good design and positive user experiences.

Start by building a foundation that answers “Why” before you ask “What” or “How.” Knowing your why is the best way to stay motivated and to inspire you to do what you do.
